How to use eCourses to Increase Website Traffic

An eCourse is a an automated emails that are sent out over a specifed perod of time.

eCourses usually consist of a series of lessons, and
they can cover any topic you'd like. If your site is
about babies you could create an eCourse called
"How to Get Your Baby to Sleep Through the Night in 7 Days"
and set it so subscribers receive one email per day
for 7 days.

Once the users remains on your mailing list, even after the
initial series is complete, so you can continue sending
future messages unless they manually unsubscribes.

Every message you send is an opportunity to get the attention of your
subscribers back to your website (or to a merchant's site
via an affiliate link). Since they've already signed up
for your eCourse or ezine, you know they're already interested in
exactly the kind of information or services you have to
offer.

The real beauty of an eCourse is that once you set up
the series of emails you want to send out, it's
completely automated. It can continue to bring you
targeted traffic for years to come without ever doing
another thing. Of course you can always go back and
make changes any time you like.

How do I setup my own eCourse?

It's easy to do. All you need is a tool called an
autoresponder.

There are lots of autoresponders to choose from from the internet,
but the two biggest are Aweber and Get Response. You definitely
want to choose an autoresponder that is well-known and
trusted. A big part of your business will rely on your
autoresponder providing reliable service.

After you sign up with an autoresponder, you'll be given
some code to paste into your site. The code will place
a box on your web pages to collect names and emails to
add to your mailing list.

Note (Important) - you want an autoresponder that uses a
double opt-in subscription method to protect you from
SPAM complaints by requiring subscribers to confirm
they want to subscribe before they can begin receiving
your eCourse.

The next step is to write your series of emails and
choose the frequency at which they'll be sent. From
there on in, your eCourse can be left on autopilot
while you work on other things. Once set up, an eCourse
can continue to bring in fresh traffic indefinitely.

How To Use Blogging to Generate Internet Website Traffic

Blogging if used effectively is a very powerful way to generate traffic and keep users comming to your site for years. If you're not already doing it you should start now.

The search engines like blogs and you'll often see
blog posts dominate the top rankings for keywords in some scenario.
You can take advantage of this by starting your
own blog (or blogs) to generate lots of new traffic
and funnel it all towards your main website.

You can build your blog website as a subsection of your
current website or you can build it as a separate,
standalone site.

Whichever you choose you'll want to make sure you link
back to your main site. Don't just link to your home
page either. Sprnkle in links to some of your other
pages too to increase their visibility and increase ranking.

I recommend using either Blogger (good) or Wordpress
(the best) to create your new blog. They're both easy to
learn and use, and they're feature-rich and customizable.

You can host your blog on their servers, but it will be more
ideal if you can register your own domain and host your blog yourself.

The reasons i suggested you host your own blog is as follows:

First, your url will look more professional and will add credibility to
your new blog site, moreover user will remember that for next visit.

If you use Blogger, your domain will look like this:

yourwebsite.blogspot.com

And in Wordpress it will be:

yourwebsite.wordpress.com

But if you host it yourself it will simply be:

yourwebsite.com

That's much easier to remember and much more credible to
your readers.

The second reason you should host your own blog is even
more important. Many blogs that are hosted on free services
like Blogger disappear without warning or reason. It's
happened to many a blogger, and you don't want to take
the chance of losing all your hard work for nothing.

Keys to a successful blog

Show some personality. A dull blog won't build much of a
following. Don't be afraid to take a stand. Stir up a
little controversy and get people talking about you blog.

Put more time on you blog site by posting often,
at least a couple times a week will do. Outdated blogs
that aren't regularly updated quickly lose their readability.

Add an RSS feed so readers can subscribe to your blog and
be notified when you add a new post.

Find other blogs in your niche and add comments to their
posts. Most blogs let you add a link back to your own site.
You can use this method to build relationships and links
to your site, but don't abuse it. Post useful comments,
not sales pitches or SPAM.

Can You Say "Google Me Today"

Search Google for, "golden arches," what do you find?

I'd be surprised if found, "McDonald's" is on top of the rankings. After exposing consumers to the golden arches for over 50 Years, you were trained to think "McDonald's," whenever we see those arches when driving, TV, and in print advertising. Powerful - don't you think? Could it work for you? Just think about it.

Let me ask you this. Would you think it would be powerful if you could say Google Me Today to anyone, a friend, a potential client, prospective customer, or even to an employer?

Would you rather brand the company or YOU? Which would benefit you?

When you hear Trump” who or what do you think of? I am sure that you agree with me it would be Donald Trump.

Wikipedia.org describes Donald Trump as Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946 in Queens, New York, New York) is an American business executive, entrepreneur, television and radio personality and author. He is the CEO of Trump Organization, an American-based real estate developer, and the founder of Trump Entertainment, which operates several casinos. He received a great deal of publicity following the success of his reality television show, The Apprentice (in which he serves as both executive producer and host for the show). He is the son of Fred Trump who was a wealthy real estate developer based in New York City.Just Google anyone famous and they will be ranked on top of Google.

CNN/Money Magazine says "You're only as good as Google says you are!". The fact is the branding yourself approaches is a must in today business world, in your online business, brick and mortar business, your profession, or job-hunting efforts by networking with people on an ongoing basis.

What are the value and benefits of branding and networking? The bottom line it all comes down to this. You are important and it is you who people want to know first before the company. But too often, you sort yourself. You talk to people, pick up a tidbit or two and then move on, never to contact them again.

That approach is not only somewhat unprofessional, but it also fails to capitalize on the whole branding concept. You've given yourself only one brief chance to be remembered by the people you've spoken to. Instead, why not say Google Me Today and contact them several times over the course of many months? And while you're at it, why not do something to help them as much as they have helped you? In other words, Google Me Today is positively and memorably. How can you brand yourself among your networking contacts and create a mutually beneficial relationship at the same time? You can use the following strategies:

Do Not Forget. Keep in Touch

Ask them first. I can assure you the almost everyone will say, "Yes," because they want to help you and know you might be able to return the favor someday. So after you've spoken to someone, send a quick thank you note and let then know you will keep in touch. Then, do it. Follow up every month or six weeks with a quick email or phone call. Keep them up to date, and then ask how things are going. At the end of every email or conversation dont leave out “Have You Google Me Today.

Pay It ForwardHelp

You might think you have nothing to offer your networking contacts, but that's not the case. We all know people who might be able to help others. Furthermore, we all stumble upon information that might be useful to others. For example, if you see a newspaper article or receive an email that one of your networking contacts would find interesting, forward it along (Pay it Forward). You provide help in return for having received it, plus you once again brand yourself favorably in the person's mind. I promise they will not forget who you are and what you are all about. Remember, you give and you will get.

Tell Your Contacts Thanks You

Thank them again for their help, and offer them your help if they should ever need it. This strategy is not only a touch of class on your part, but also gives you another opportunity to brand yourself in the minds of your new contacts.

Branding yourself and networking takes a little time, it is also a long-term strategy, and branding yourself using networking generally takes a little effort and patience. But you'll set yourself up very nicely, not just for short-term payoffs, but also for long-term success and stability. Not unlike a certain fast food chain whose golden arches have helped produce customers and profits for many years.

So take action today and commit to branding yourself. How about being place number one on Google & Yahoo in less then 24 hours. Its only takes 10 minutes. Look at http://www.googlemetoday.com or even “Google Me Today.Jim Cobb. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing about your success.

Defining search engine optimisation

SEARCH ENGINE optimisation (SEO) is supposed to elevate your website’s Google and Yahoo rankings by fooling their programs into believing your site is the best answer to key words. The pitch of SEO is that you can ’beat the system’ by adding special phrases, formats and styles to your website, so it will be ’seen’ by the web spiders and crawlers who will tell the search engines to rank it higher. Doesn’t this remind you of gambling in Las Vegas? Only in a casino would you spend your money trying to beat the odds against those who set the rules. And as soon as they catch someone ’beating their system’ like counting cards, they make up new rules that keep the odds in their favour. Tell the truth. The key words that truly describe your firm’s best and highest use should already and always be throughout your website. For example if you install home theatre, your company name, website name, and website content should of course contain the words home entertainment and listing some key words is sensible.

But isn’t SEO the same thing? As business owners, we bet our money on SEO firms to beat the Google system but we can’t even bluff Google since they see all our cards as soon as our SEO expert puts them on our site. So actually we are subsidising Google’s research and development (R&D) efforts every time we bet with our SEO secrets, which Google immediately can and does learn from! But armed with fancy graphs and charts, SEO experts promise us get noticed quick schemes that will place our firm on the first page and ahead of all the other firms that aren’t smart enough to invest in SEO. My experience with SEO is the same as it is with Las Vegas. It’s okay to dabble and gamble a bit, if you do so for the entertainment and the short term thrill you may get. But banking on either in lieu of focusing on your day job of narrowing your focus and pointing it at exactly who needs it is irresponsible. Focus on developing content and proove that your expertise helps your target market and leave SEO to the pretenders and who have more money than brains.

This suggestion is not necessarily bad. If you take the low volume search term and Google it, you can find out how many other pages are indexed for that search term. Find a search term with less 200 pages indexed and target that keyword. Write a good article using standard search engine optimisation techniques. Once completed, submit to a social bookmarking system for faster indexing.

The content needs to be spot on when it comes to keyword relevance.

You need the visitor to stay and look around. If your page has been set up tightly, it will have a well placed call to action. Convert 10 per cent of that new traffic and that is 150 new sales - and its long term. Less favourable keywords can be a real gem in the search engine oceans.

Our dreams were then crushed, sadness filled us,frowns then were plastered on our faces. The website GoDaddy officially failed. Not only did they accept our money, they told us these domains were good to go. About an hour after purchasing them, the dreaded emails entered our in-boxes. There was an error. What kind of error? Well, they were already registered.
